Personal Trainer

Summary:

If you live and breathe wanting to make someone’s best even better, then a position as a personal trainer with Carlisle Performance Systems might be the next stop on your career train. We accept clients at all stages of fitness, so the right attitude is key.

Our company is growing and we’re in need of an additional personal trainer to help our clients make their best even better. A Carlisle Performance Systems PT will not only be responsible for managing our clients, but also have the opportunity to build their own book of business. 

Under the guidance of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach Duane Carlisle, and using our proprietary assessment systems, you will be responsible for designing customized training programs for clients. Training sessions may be one-on-one on location at our facilities, or you can travel to the location of the clients choice. 

Minimum requirements include:

-CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications

-You should either be working towards or hold a BS/MS in Exercise Science/Kinesiology, or similar field.  

-3+ years in Personal Training (at a gym or independently) 

-You must have completed a Personal Training certification

-Bonus points if you’ve had strength and conditioning training yourself in the past

Attention to detail is important, so to make sure you’ve read this all the way through, tell us what your favorite book has been in the last 5 years and why in your cover letter. 

Responsibilities include:

Advise clients about proper exercise maneuvers 

Educate clients on equipment and demonstrate proper form

Make the client feel welcome – this is a judgement free zone! 

Help keep the training facilities neat and clean

Help attract new clients
