WHAT IS IT: THE CARLISLE ATHLETIC PROFILE

At Carlisle Performance Systems, your training program begin with a Carlisle Athletic Profile (CAP), a proprietary athletic assessment for athletes that has been designed, and proven, to give you (or, your child) a competitive edge.

The CAP is the most comprehensive, data-driven proprietary assessment in the private sector. It’s the entry point of designing a world-class training program geared toward meeting your individual needs and is administered at our Strength and Conditioning facility in San Jose, CA.

It was through the utilization of and collaboration with with sports scientists, sports medicine, sports performance researchers and other athletic professionals that shaped our comprehensive athletic assessment to identify an athlete’s “window of adaptation” to improve speed and agility, while also minimizing risk of injury.

HOW THE CAP WORKS

We, along with some of the industry’s most elite sports scientists, have developed a proprietary algorithm that will measure your athletic capacity with a plethora of data points by testing mobility, asymmetry, force production, speed, power and change of direction speed, reaction time, asymmetries left side vs right side, and much more.

By testing literally thousands of athletes over more than a decade, we’ve compiled plenty of data to provide athletic norms and prevent the waste of huge amounts of money on training that may or may not work.

Upon completion of the Carlisle Athletic Profile, we will develop a personal training plan for you which is aimed at raising your athletic ceiling and your specific genetic potential.

We will maximize every one of your training sessions, armed with our strength and conditioning staff’s ability to help you jump higher, run faster, and become more flexible.
